Yang Zhenlun crowned champion at 10th NGCC Championship

球王賽The 10th NGCC Invitational Tournament was won by Yang Zhenlun, who was crowned the ‘Tenth Taiwanese King’ after defeating defending champion Chen Qinhua.

This year the tournament was held after the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday with Taiwan’s top amateurs vying for honours on the splendid conditions at the NGCC course.

Yang Zhenlun said: “Today's strategy is to play steadily and be conservative. Just stay patient if the hole is too difficult and don’t let a bad hole affect my mood and rhythm. If I’m lucky, I will win in the end.”

In the NGCC member category, Chen Qinghua defended the title with a 253 total while Lin Yongtian finished two shots back to place second. Wang Qingzhang ranked third.
